Breast Cancer Factors

Now-a-days media and health care centers are spreading more and more awareness related to Breast Cancer. Because research show that Breast Cancer victims, especially females number is increasing. Basically the Breast cancer is a kind of tumor that develops in the cells of a person’s breast.
Well there is a view that only women can get breast cancer, but because all people have breast tissue, men can get breast cancer as well but this happens very rarely. Actually the accurate causes of breast cancer and any other cancer are not clear exactly, but still there are many factors that can lead to a higher probability for a woman to get breast cancer. That is for sure that breast cancer is not contagious and one cannot get cancer from a cancer patient and breast cancer is not caused through touching or bruising of the breasts.

There are many risk factors that increase the chance of breast cancer, so here are a few risks you should know about. Age is one of the risk factors related to breast cancer. In a report it was shown that age is one of the main risk factors related to breast cancer and many cases are s detected in women over 60 and is rarely seen in women before menopause. Additionally family history counts a lot and doctors consider it one of the bigger ones on the list. Well whenever your breast was diagnosed with a certain set of abnormal cells in it, you are more likely to have breast cancer. And don’t get scared or nervous as these cells are not cancerous yet, but these changes of the breasts can be indicators for breast cancer. You should visit the doctor at once and should take some test as per his suggestions. Breast cancer is recoverable if diagnosed early.
